1. What Is The Best Age To Train My Dog?

I discuss this in the system, but here are a few clues.

It's best if you start "socialization" from 8 weeks, simple commands
like "come" and "sit" from 12 weeks, and more intensive training at 5
to 6 months.

Most importantly, creating positive experiences in a multitude of
different situations in your dog's first 14 weeks of life is critical
for your dog's adaptability later in life.

More formal and consistent training can start at 6 months. At that

3. What Type Of Collar Should I Use?

The answer is different for different dogs.

Small dogs are best trained with a harness collar. Bigger dogs can be
trained with a nylon or leather collar, and a flat buckle. Really big
dogs, like Newfoundlands, can be led around quite effectively with the
"gentle leader."

I discourage the use of "choke chains." (I explain why in the book.)

Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
